Terms of service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Tetrea, the multi-tenant hospitality software platform operated by the Tetrea platform operator (“we”, “us”, “Tetrea”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or paying for a subscription, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the organisation you represent (“Customer”, “you”).
1. The service
Tetrea is an online SaaS product for hospitality operators (guesthouses, boutiques, resorts, and restaurants). Capabilities are sold as packages and billable modules. What you can use is controlled by your active subscription entitlements. Channel distribution, when entitled, connects through the platform operator’s Channex account only — property staff do not supply alternate channel-manager credentials.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate organisation and owner details, keep credentials secure, and ensure users you invite act in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. You are responsible for activity under your organisation’s accounts. We may suspend access for security, abuse, or unpaid balances as described in our billing policies.
3. Trials, subscriptions, and fees
Trials may be offered without a card. Paid plans renew for the selected billing period until cancelled. Prices, taxes, package limits (properties, rooms, seats, outlets), and module add-ons are shown at checkout or in your Billing settings. Failed payments may place the subscription in past_due status and soft-lock write access until payment succeeds or the account is cancelled under our retention rules.
Cancel-at-period-end leaves read-only access for a defined grace window, after which entitlements may be suspended. Usage beyond package metering may be refused or require an upgrade.
4. Customer data and guest data
You retain ownership of property, reservation, guest, folio, and operational data you submit (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and secure the service. For personal data in Customer Data, our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement describe roles and processing.
You warrant that you have a lawful basis to upload guest and staff personal data and that you will not use Tetrea to process data in violation of Maldives, EU, or other applicable privacy law applicable to your operation.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- probe, disrupt, or circumvent security, rate limits, or multi-tenant isolation;
- resell the service except under a written reseller arrangement;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or malware-bearing content;
- use the service to process payments you are not authorised to accept; or
- misrepresent your identity or property affiliations to guests or OTAs.
6. Third-party services
The platform may integrate payment providers, email delivery, and the platform Channex connection. Those providers’ terms apply to their services. Guest payment gateways configured for your property are distinct from platform SaaS billing.
7. Availability and support
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated where practical. Support channels and response targets may vary by package.
8. Intellectual property
Tetrea software, branding, documentation, and marketing materials remain our property. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Customer Data to us, nor of our IP to you.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability arising from these Terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period, excluding liability that cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
10. Suspension and termination
Either party may terminate for material breach if not cured within a reasonable period after notice. We may suspend immediately for security risk, illegal use, or non-payment. After termination and any retention window, we may delete or anonymise Customer Data as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms with notice via the marketing site, admin banner, or email for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, cancel before the new Terms take effect.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts of Malé have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer or local rules require otherwise for your organisation.
13. Contact
